Art Update Progress

Hello, I just wanted to inform you all about the progress of the updating are going. First, it's been about 2 weeks since I informed you all about the next update and the art rework. I just wanted to let you know the art progress has been going great. I thought I would share on what has been done so far for the art upgrade. First, I want to bring up the sprite work. Most of the backgrounds, or the ones with few sprites, are up to date. So that would be the 'Best Friend', the 'Stone Cat', 'Madam Shrine', and 'Axe'. Their new sprites are up-to-date, while Jao and London are not all updated.  Here is an example of the new sprite work with one of London's updated sprites. 

You can also notice that I have updated some of the backgrounds as well. For the backgrounds that I have updated, the City/Alleyway, the forest, and the base. Now I am also going to talk about the biggest change to the game, which is the player character. With the player character, there would be a couple of cutscenes that would have the player design. After thinking about that for a while, I have decided to rework those moments and have the character design not be shown. The reason I decided to do this is that this is supposed to be a self-insert, and having a design might break away from that.  So moving on, when the new design update is done, the player's face won't be shown at most is their hands and arms. That way, you will be able to insert yourself or an oc into the game. That is what I have to tell you about the game progress. Once again thank you for downloading and playing my game.
